Ho ho ho! SF Beta Wraps Up for the Holidays
Published on December 15th, 2006 by Christian
This month, we had two great events that brought the web community together.
On December 7, we got involved with SF WIN to help with their holiday mixer. They got a great turnout, with plenty of new faces, and we all enjoyed the delicious food and friendly hospitality, courtesy of Orrick.
Then, on Wednesday, December 13, we came back with our holiday charity event, raising over $400 for Creative Commons and EFF.
In a few days, I’m heading home to New Jersey for the holidays, and it seems like I’m not alone. Since Silicon Valley is home to so many transplants, I hear lots of stories from people who are packing up and heading out, if only for a few days. Let’s enjoy the few moments of quiet before things heat up again in 2007 — and heat up they certainly will.
So until next time, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Resplendent Kwanzaa, Ebullient Festivus, and a very happy new year!
