To accommodate a record anticipated crowd, SF Beta 4.0.4, taking place Wednesday, Sept. 15, will now run an extra hour, from 5pm-10pm.
I made the same decision for our event in July, which drew 550 people. Thanks to the extra hour, which allowed people to vary their arrivals and departures, the venue retained a lively and vibrant atmosphere without ever veering toward the ominous sardine-like state reminiscent of those godawful SXSW parties.
